Abstract: |
This dataset documents the minimum pension eligibility age for most people in 190 countries, covering the years 2005-2023. The variables include country, year, normal and early pension age for men and women, as well as extra notes that provide additional information. Most of the data was extracted from the Social Security Administration (SSA) (https://www.ssa.gov/policy/docs/progdesc/ssptw/) and the International Social Security Association (ISSA) website (https://www.issa.int/databases/country-profiles), which detail pension systems in different countries. The dataset is provided in Excel and CSV formats. |
