Included is a zip programming containing all replication files and documentation associated with 'From the Fringe to the Fore: Labor Unions and Employee Compensation,' by Matthew Knepper. The zip file includes the NLRB union elections database and associated data dictionary, which covers 1961-2009, 5 .do files that assemble the sample databases and execute all analyses from the source data files, and finally, a Readme file that contains a description of the programs created to produce the results of the paper, a description of the data sources, data dictionaries for the proprietary databases used, a description of the software on which and through which the analysis was conducted, and finally, instructions for accessing the two primary sources of proprietary data used to generate the results of the study.
