Abstract: |
Purpose, Nature, and Scope of the Data Set Purpose: To ensure transparency and enable reproducibility of the scoping review "Usage-Based Theory and the Gestalt Language Processor: An Integrative Perspective on Language Processing." It provides the complete data and documentation needed to verify the review process and findings. Nature: The data set consists of the search strategy, screening logs, and a detailed extraction sheet. It documents the process from identifying 12,104 records to including 43 studies, with variables such as study type and primary theory (UBT/GLP) coded for analysis. Scope: It encompasses all data from the review process, including search documentation for major databases, aggregated screening statistics, and fully coded data for the 43 included studies on language development in children with typical development or autism |
