Abstract:

The purpose of the MROS: FP Round One was to answer the question: Among currently married women of reproductive age (CMWRA) in Nepal, what determines the use of a family planning method in terms of opportunity, ability and motivation? The MROS: FP Round One was conducted in December 2005-January 2006 amongst 3,930 respondents via a structured questionnaire interview process. A multi-stage cluster sampling approach was used to draw a representative sample of currently married women, 15 to 49 years of age living in urban and rural areas of Nepal.
