Please note that the following variables are omitted from the dataset to protect the privacy of survey participants: type of landholding (single owner, partnership, etc.), income, race, year of land purchase, intention to sell land in next ten years, distance of landowner residence from forest land, forest acreage, number of properties in Current Use, participant in Vermont Maple Sugar Makers Association, participant in Vermont Woodlands Association, participation in conservation organization or conservation easement. The remaining data include the variables that are critical to the analysis. Forest acreage, although used in one of the regression analyses for this paper, is not critical to the results and is omitted as it could be used to identify participants.</dcterms:description><dcterms:subject>Social Sciences</dcterms:subject><dcterms:date>2018-03-27</dcterms:date><dcterms:contributor>White, Alisa</dcterms:contributor><dcterms:dateSubmitted>2018-03-24</dcterms:dateSubmitted><dcterms:license>CC0 1.0</dcterms:license></metadata>
