There are almost four hundred survey rounds from these sources.  They include almost eight million respondents from 162 countries between 1962 and 2016. The resource is being made available for replication studies and as a tool for other researchers. The data is being provided as close as possible to its original format and it is up to each user to decide on the most appropriate methods for analyzing and using this resource. Analyzing multiple data sources requires contending with different survey designs and methods. There are also some duplicated national surveys between the different sources because some share data.
