More importantly, the bacterium is endowed with cell surface appendages that reduce metals and metalloids to lower oxidation state; thereby, potentiating the bacterium’s relevance in biomineralization and bioremediation. This work presents the proteome database of S. putrefaciens ATCC BAA-453 by parsing its annotated proteome downloaded from UniProt.
