Yarrowia lipolytica is an oleaginous yeast evolutionary distinct from Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Able to produce multiple metabolites after genetic engineering, Y. lipolytica has seen increasing use in biotechnology. This work presents the proteome database of Y. lipolytica by parsing its annotated proteome downloaded from UniProt. Comprising protein name, amino acid sequence, number of residues, molecular weight, and nucleotide sequence, the resource should find use in biotechnology and basic microbiology research seeking to better understand the physiology of the organism for designing new biotechnological process around it.
