For this image, the following vector shapefiles were used as a base map for reference: \"Chile_cities100k95\", \"Chile_cities10k_50k95\", \"Chile_cities1k_10k95\", \"Chile_cities50k_100k95\", \"Chile_provinces95\" published in 2003 from Macon World Complete DVD; \"Volcanoes\" from the 2003 Global GIS dataset. The vector data was projected to the 'World Mercator' projection and the image was subsequently georeferenced to the same projection. A world file (.j2w) was automatically generated and saved in association with the digital image. See 'Horizontal Accuracy' for the RMS error of this image.
