The quadrangle was scanned at 300 dpi and then georeferenced to the four sets of cor\nner tic marks in the Irish National Grid coordinate system with an RMS error of 20.19407 meters. A world file (.tfwx) and an .aux.xml file were automatically generated and saved in association with the digital TIFF image. See 'Horizontal Accuracy' for the RMS error of this specific TIFF.
