This quadrangle was scanned at 300 dpi and then georeferenced to the\nfour corner tic marks using the British National Grid coordinate system (British National Grid, Airy Spheroid OSGB (1936) Datum). The TIFF image of the historic map was subsequently georeferenced to the quadrangle in the same coordinate system. A world file (.tfw) was automatically generated and saved in association with the digital image. See 'Horizontal Accuracy' for the RMS error of this image.
