In addition to vector data, this image was also linked to the georeferenced, historic paper map: Saint Louis quadrangle, Missouri - Illinois (scale 1:62,500) published by U.S. Geological Survey, Ed. of Apr. 1904, reprinted 1932 (RMS error: 24.31626). The image was georeferenced to and stored in the NAD83 StatePlane Missouri East (feet) coordinate system. ArcMap 9.2 software was utilized for the georeferencing process, and a .tfwx (world file) and a\nux.xml file were automatically generated and saved in association with the digital TIFF image. See 'Horizontal Accuracy' for the RMS error of this TIFF image.
