The image inside the map neatline is georeferenced to the surface of the earth and fit to the Washington State Plane North Coordinate System HARN NAD83 (in Feet) (Fipszone 4601). Vector shapefiles were acquired from the King County GIS Center. For this image, the following ESRI vector shapefile(s) were used as base maps for reference: ESRI Data and Maps 2008 U.S. and Canada Streets. The image was georeferenced to and stored in the NAD83 HARN State Plane Washington\nNorth (feet) coordinate system. ArcMap 9.3 software was utilized for the georeferencing process, and a .tfwx (world file) was automatically generated and saved in association with the digital image.
