It was published in 1893. Scale [1:7,000]. Covers the Exposition grounds, now Jackson Park and Midway Plaisance. The image inside the map neatline is georeferenced to the surface of the earth and fit to the Illinois East State Plane Coordinate System NAD83 (in Feet) (Fipszone 1201). All map collar and inset information is also available as part of the raster image, including any inset maps, profiles, statistical tables, directories, text, illustrations, index maps, legends, or other information associated with the principal map. This map shows features such as roads, railroads, cable and electric car lines, drainage, lagoons and ponds, buildings, paths, and more. reference points located on digital vector shapefiles. For this image, the following vector shapefile(s) were used as base maps for reference: ESRI Data\n& Maps 2007 : U.S. and Canada Streets (1:100,000); and City of Chicago GIS, Hydrology, 2003? The image was georeferenced to and stored in the NAD83 StatePlane Illinois East (feet) coordinate system. ArcMap 9.2 software was utilized for the georeferencing process, and a .tfwx (world file) and aux.xml file were automatically generated and saved in association with the digital image.
