Vector shapefiles were acquired from the King County GIS Center. For this image, the following King County GIS vector shapefile(s) were used as base maps for reference: King County Water\n& Land Resources and the Washington State Dept. of Ecology : Open water for King County and portions of adjacent counties (2003). In addition to vector data, this image was also linked to other georeferenced maps including: U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey's Seattle Harbor : Puget Sound Washington territory, 1889. The image was georeferenced to and stored in the NAD83 HARN State Plane Washington North (feet) coordinate system. ArcMap 9.2 software was utilized for the georeferencing process, and a\n.tfwx (world file) was automatically generated and saved in association with the digital image.
