For this image, the following vector shapefile(s) were used as base maps for reference: ESRI Data\n& Maps 2007 : U.S. and Canada Streets (1:100,000); and ESRI Data & Maps 2007 : U.S. and Canada Railroads (1:100,000). The image was georeferenced to and stored in the NAD83 StatePlane Illinois East (feet) coordinate system. ArcMap 9.2 software was utilized for the georeferencing process, and a .tfwx (world file) and aux.xml file were automatically generated and saved in association with the digital image.
