Vector shapefiles were downloaded from the Pennsylvania Spatial Data Access (PASDA) website which is the official public portal for geospatial data. For this image, the following vector shapefile(s) were used as base maps for reference: Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Bureau of Planning and Research, Cartographic Information Division's PennDOT - Pennsylvania Municipality boundaries 2007 (1:24,000); and ESRI Data\n& Maps 2005 : U.S. Water Bodies (1:24,000). The image was georeferenced to and stored in the NAD83 State Plane Pennsylvania South (feet) coordinate system. ArcMap 9.2 software was utilized for the georeferencing process, and a .tfwx (world file) and an .aux.xml file were automatically generated and saved in association with the digital image.
