The system improved the monitoring of the individual mortgages, and facilitated research, analysis, and auditing of the mortgage programs. This series contains records of each loan insured by the Federal Housing Administratio\nn.  Along with the characteristics of the loan, each record contains information on the mortgagor and the property being mortgaged.  Personal data on each mortgagor includes name, address, social security number, income, age, sex and marital status.  Property data includes appraisal value, and descriptions of the house, lot and neighborhood.
