This information was also used to create reports and data provided to the public and to other agencies. This series contains information on branch deposits and the geographic location for all Savings Association Insurance Fund (SAIF) insured and Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS) regulated associat\nions. The data are from OTS Form 248, \"Annual Report On Deposits and Savings Accounts By Home Office and Branches,\" current as of June 30 of the reporting period. Each record contains a sequence number indicating whether the type of information is about the parent institution, the institution's home office, or other offices for an institution. At a minimum for each reporting period, each institution will have a parent record and a home office record. One or more branch office records may also be included. Information includes: docket number, branch sequence number, cycle date, branch code, OTS supervisory region number and district number, census bureau region, primary metropolitan statistical area, consolidated metropolitan statistical area, county code, county name, charter type, institution name and full mailing address, state code, total association deposits, savings deposits, number of active branches, number of closed branches, total number of branches, last filing date, name and telephone number of the preparer, and sequence number of the last branch office.\n
