When a prisoner was released from a brig, the agency moved the record from the current file to the history file.   This series contains history records for each prisoner released from a Navy brig. The history files include: prisoner name, Social Security Number, race, sex, date of birth, name and address of next of kin, charges filed, length of sentence, existence of a pre-trial agreement, appeals o\nf sentence, dates of incarceration, unit identification code at the time of the offense, and data related to prisoner conduct while incarcerated.\n</p> \t\t    <p> \t\t\tThis data comprises government records extracted from the Archival Research Catalog (ARC).
