The agency used the results to determine if the schools engaged in deceptive trade practices and to make policy recommendations. This series contains records of persons who took the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) in the New York metropolitan area (New\nYork, New Jersey, and Connecticut) and records of persons who took the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) in the metropolitan areas of Boston, New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles between October 1974 and December 1976. The records include demographic information on the test takers, their grade point average, their test scores, whether they received coaching, and a series of elements used to measure the influence of the coaching upon their test performance.\n
