After the Paris Peace Accords, the agency used the information to determine where the United States needed to remove the mines. This series contains data from two military operations during the Vietnamese Conflict, LINEBACKER and POCKET MONEY, which concerned all mining operations conducted against North Vietnamese interior\nwaterways and harbors. The objective of LINEBACKER was to block interior waterways and to prevent the construction of bridges over the waterways. The objective of POCKET MONEY was to mine Haiphong and all other useable North Vietnamese harbors. Each record includes the location of the mine seeding, the activation and safe date of each string of mines laid, the number of mines of each type and sensitivity of each string, coordinates of the end of each string, and the type of aircraft that delivered the string.\n
