The agency collected the data from respondent establishments, tabulated the results, and produced reports and data files. This series contains microdata from a stratified probability sample of between 100,000 and 140,000 trucks for each census.  The data include weight and type of ownership, leasing information (type, length, and options), major use and principal pro\nducts carried (including percentage of time carried hazardous material), maintenance information, and equipment data (engine, transmission type, brake type, power steering, fuel conservation equipment, body and vehicle type and size class, and cab type), vehicle make, cubic foot displacement, and Polk gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) code.\n</p> \t\t    <p> \t\t\tThis data comprises government records extracted from the Archival Research Catalog (ARC).
