The agency collected these data to help scientists study how long-term exposure to hazardous substances might have affected  human health. It also used the system to i\nnform registrants of the results of new research related to their exposure. This series contains information on persons exposed to or potentially exposed to hazardous toxic substances, specifically Trichloroethylene (TCE), Trichloroethane (TCA), Benzene, and Dioxin. The data consists of demographic information (date of birth, sex, race, employment, etc.), residential history including current address, and health information and tobacco use. The health information includes types of health problems encountered (including cancer), dates of occurrence, and whether person was hospitalized or treated for problem.\n</p> \t\t    <p> \t\t\tThis data comprises government records extracted from the Archival Research Catalog (ARC).
