The six types are: nursing homes and old age homes; facilities for children; facilities for the physically handicapped; psychiatric institutions and asylums; facilities for the mentally handicapped; and other institu\ntions, such as those that offered care for chronic diseases and extended care facilities of short-term hospitals.
