This series contains data about the planning and implementation of the deinstitutionalization of the men\ntally handicapped and their relocation into the surrounding community. This survey contains information on the residents, their families, quality of health care and environment, and cost-benefit analyses for the Pennhurst State School and Hospital in Pennsylvania.\n
