This series contains the unaggregated detail data extracted from the questionnaires returned by respondents to the Census of Construction.  Records include basic economic data on the business establishment such as receipts, employment and payroll, energy and fuel costs, depreciable assets, service expenditures, and capital expenditures.\nThe data files contain the raw data collected on forms CC-1501 and CC-1502 from establishments in building construction - general contractors and operative builders; CC-1601 and CC-1602, construction other than building construction - contractors; CC-1701 and CC-1702, construction - special trade contractors; and CC-6501 and CC6502, subdividers and developers, except cemeteries.  These establishments were primarily engaged in the following activities: general building, heavy construction, and special trade contractors (subcontractors); subdividers and developers; operative or merchant builders; bridge, tunnel, and elevated highway construction; wrecking and demolition work; and installation or erection of building equipment not elsewhere classified.\n</p> \t\t    <p> \t\t\tThis data comprises government records extracted from the Archival Research Catalog (ARC).
