This system enabled Federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies to initiate efforts to recover stolen or abandoned explosive materials and determine explosives that were used for criminal and illegal purposes. This series contains records documenting trace information that establishes the identity of explosive materials manufactured in the United Stat\nes, Canada, Austria, and Mexico.
