The files were used to establish an audit trail containing information on individuals as they progressed from the application stage, through the admissions process, to disenrollment or graduation from the U.S. Naval Academy. This series consists of four files for each class year and provides information about individual military cadets\nor midshipmen for the time frame they attended the U.S. Naval Academy. The List of Students files contain a record for each military cadet or midshipman including non-graduates. Information in the List of Students files includes the name, student number, Social Security Number, major, separation, Scholastic Aptitude Test scores, course grades, and the semester in which a course was taken. The Non-Academic Information file contains a record for each military cadet or midshipman including name, date of birth, sex, race, foreign national identification, parent or guardian name, address, and date of separation. The Transcripts file contains a record for each military cadet or midshipman including name, Social Security Number, date admitted, separation and date, degree, commission, appointment source, and order of merit. The List of Courses file contains a record for each course offered including the course number and the semester hours of the course.\n
