TRIM3 simulates the effect of major governmental tax, transfer and health programs on the U.S. population at the individual, family, state, and national level.  This simulation includes governmental programs such as: Supplemental Security Income (SSI), child care, Tempo\nrary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF), public and subsidized housing, food stamp program, child support, Medicare, Medicaid and SCHIP, employer-sponsored health insurance, and taxes.\n<p><b>User Functionality</b></p> Users can calculate frequencies and statistics, download summary reports, and run regression models based upon TRIM3 simulations.  Users must register to access TRIM3 simulations.  Data can be downloaded in several programs including: ASCII, SAS, SPSS, dBase, and Microsoft Excel.  <p><b>Data Notes</b></p> TRIM3 is updated annually to reflect changes in tax and transfer programs.
