Documentation includes: Volume1_readmefirst.doc (information on files contained in the original CD), Volume1_introduction.doc (general information on concepts and definitions of items, etc.), Annex1.doc: (industry nomenclature), Annex2.doc (list of combination codes), Annex3.doc (table codes), and Annex4.doc (country codes and currencies).  Also included is Unpack.bat (command which operates “PKUNZIP”, decompressing all files with .zip extensions and placing them into a separate folder) and PKUNZIP.exe (unzip extraction program).  The collection also includes the following compressed, space-delimited files: Vol1.zip (records 1967-1993), Historic.zip (records 1953-1966), Index.zip: Index numbers (records from 1967 to 1991 [1980 = 100]), as well as Footnote.zip (footnotes in ASCII format).  These were extracted and mounted at HMDC along with the zipped folders, so that the user can choose to download either individual data files or the zipped packages.
